the illustralien
The Illustralien (or the illustration-alien) is an interactive sculpture/installation created by myself and Elena Hayward. We originally made him for the "Give Me Some Space" fund raiser exhibition at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol and used him for several other events after that. He is a willow, tissue paper, foam, textile and rubber glove structure with enough room inside to uncomfortably fit 8 people.
